These painting are separated by ten years respectively, with a lot happening between them. But there is this recurrence of a palette that is dominated by red, yellow and blue, almost the exact colors reappearing each time. It seems as though there are many creative processes that an artist goes through that are encoded in their memory as a complex sequence of specific colors....creative memory stored as color patterns. But the interesting thing for me is that these color patterns reappear supporting new ideas, sort of an open-ended creative memory tool for almost anything.
